AI Automation
Developer in Erbil, Iraq
AI agents, LLM automations, and intelligent process automation
For businesses in Erbil, the Kurdistan Region, and across Iraq · and remote clients worldwide
I'm Ibrahim Al-Bander, an AI automation developer in Erbil, Iraq. I put language models to work inside real businesses — reading invoices and documents, scoring inbound leads, screening for fraud, and making routine decisions — using OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini, orchestrated in n8n and wrapped in the validation that makes AI safe to trust in production. I work in person across Erbil and the Kurdistan Region, and remotely worldwide.
The short version
What is an AI automation developer?
An AI automation developer builds systems where AI models do real work inside a business: reading documents, judging leads, drafting replies, and handling routine decisions, connected to the tools you already use. Unlike a plain chatbot, these run unattended and in the background — with validation, logging, and a human approval step wherever the decision actually matters. The result is hours of manual work removed every week, safely.

How I work
Four layers of working with AI
Reliable AI automation is more than a clever prompt. I build across four layers — it is the method behind everything here. Read the full write-up onprompt, context, harness, and loop engineering.
Prompt engineering
Designing the instructions so the model does the right thing consistently, not just once in a lucky demo.
Context engineering
Getting the right information — your data, records, and history — in front of the model at the right moment, and nothing that would distract it.
Harness engineering
The tools, guardrails, and output validation around the model, so it fails loudly, stays in its lane, and hands off to a human where it should.
Loop engineering
Letting an agent run over multiple steps with self-correction and checks, for the work that genuinely needs more than a single pass.
Pricing
How much does an AI automation developer cost?
AI automation is priced per project or per workflow, not by the hour. Freelance automation developers globally charge roughly $40 to $100+ per hour, and a focused, single-process build is typically a few hundred dollars, depending on the integrations, the volume, and how much AI logic and review it needs. Tell me the process and I will give you a fixed quote before any work starts.
Who I work with
Local in Erbil, remote worldwide
Small and mid-sized businesses, agencies, and founders: in person around Erbil and the Kurdistan Region, and remotely across Iraq and worldwide. I also run the marketing, the books, and the inventory at a real company — so I automate the finance, approval, and lead work as someone who has done it by hand, not from a template.

Quick answers
Hiring an AI automation developer: FAQ
- What does an AI automation developer actually do?
- An AI automation developer builds systems where language models do real work inside a business — reading documents, scoring leads, drafting replies, and making routine decisions — wired into your existing tools and wrapped in validation so they run unattended. I design the automation, connect it to models like OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini, and add the guardrails that keep it reliable in production.
- Which AI models and tools do you build with?
- OpenAI, Claude, and Gemini as the reasoning models, orchestrated in n8n and connected to the tools a business already runs — Gmail, Google Sheets and Calendar, Telegram, and GoHighLevel. When a task needs logic the standard nodes cannot express, I write custom JavaScript function nodes.
- How do you keep an AI automation from making expensive mistakes?
- Schema validation on every model output, logging and alerts so it fails loudly instead of silently, and a human approval step wherever money or real risk is involved. AI proposes; a person confirms the decisions that matter. That is the difference between a demo and something you can trust with invoices and leads.
- Do you only work on n8n, or custom builds too?
- n8n is my backbone because it is fast, self-hostable, and transparent, but the work is AI automation, not one tool. I build custom function nodes and, where a workflow platform is the wrong fit, standalone scripts and small apps. The goal is the outcome, not loyalty to a single platform.
- Do you work with clients outside Iraq?
- Yes. AI automation is delivered remotely, so I build and maintain systems for clients anywhere in the world, alongside in-person work for businesses in Erbil and across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
